I <br />TOWN REPORTER© <br />TOWN OF PARADISE VALLEY <br />6401 EAST LINCOLN DRIVE <br />\la~ 200 I \'oh111u.· 32, Issue I <br />GUESS WHO'S TURNING 40 ... <br />AND PROUD OF IT! <br />On May 24, 2001, the Town of Paradise Valley will celebrate its 40th year of incorporation. Plans <br />are underway for a 40th birthday party, beginning with an open house at the Town Hall Complex, tours of <br />the three municipal buildings and refreshments in the Town Hall Council Chamber from 3:00 p.m. to <br />5:00 p.m. The Town Council will host the evening events in the Town Hall Coun- <br />I\SIDE <br />The Mayor's Comer <br />New Council <br />cil Chamber, scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Festivities will include <br />entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, as well as special <br />presentations by members of our surrounding communities. <br />The Town's Historical Advisory Committee, with former <br />Mayor Joan Home as chair of the Committee, has worked on a <br />publication to celebrate the Town's 40th anniversary. Look for a <br />copy of the booklet in the Paradise Valley Independent during the <br />month of May. Additional copies of the publication will be avail- <br />able to Town residents at Town .Hall. <br />Please join us as we celebrate 40 years of maintaining <br />our excellent quality of life in a beautiful, rural setting as envi- <br />sioned by our founders in 1961 . For more details and informa- <br />tion on the Town's 40th birthday party, please contact Natalie <br />Montenegrino in the Town Manager's office.
