:x <br />Founder's Day Celebration! <br />This year marks the 36th anniversary of the founding of the Town of <br />Paradise Valley . In observance of this occasion the Town has <br />planned its 1st Founder's Day Celebration . The festivities will take <br />place: <br />Saturday, May 3, 1997 <br />9:00 a .m. - 1 :00 p.m. <br />Kachina Country Day School <br />6602 East Malcolm Drive <br />Some of the activities will include games for children, drawings for <br />prizes, a petting zoo, and historical information on the Town. <br />The program will also feature a presentation from the Paradise Valley <br />Historical Committee, a proclamation given by Mayor Marvin Davis, <br />and entertainment provided by Marshall Trimble , State Historian and <br />author. <br />School children ages 6 and up are encouraged to enter the <br />essay/poem/artwork drawing. Submit the entry form below with the <br />essay, poem , or drawing . <br />All entries should be on 8% x 11 paper. Each child's name will be <br />entered into the drawing for prizes at the celebration . Bring or mail <br />the entries to Town Hall, at 6401 East Linco ln Drive, Attention: Elsa <br />Lynch .
